I survived the first week back and really am excited about the spring semester. I have some great classes and most of my students seem to have it together. We kicked off the weekend with an evening at Disneyland. I couldn't be more thrilled that we got those passes this summer and the fact that it is so close!
With no Super Bowl plans, I'm sitting on our couch relaxing and watching the Kick-Off Show. Danny is typing away in the other room (working on homework), Riley is napping and Parker is passed out on the couch right next to me. Poor guy had a rough night of sleep so it's been a bumpy day for the little man.
I have taken my first stab at making a stew. Just about everything under the sun went into this bad boy so I hope it tastes as good as it's making the house smell. As for the traditional super bowl snacks we don't have anything out...just trying to gear up for a new week. Monday meetings and the usual excitement of being back at work. But this Monday-Thursday gig is the way to go :)
